The basic model will be initiated within the Cloud Centre of Excellence if it exists and will include at least :
a Lead FinOps who will be in charge of managing the action plan and communicating results as well as coordinating optimization activities
a Lead Architect in charge of the initial definition of the tagging policy, the optimization of the environment (rightsizing and minimum reservations) in collaboration with the applications that own the perimeter concerned, the control of the effectiveness of the measures and the dissemination of skills
For these roles, it is recommended to create a "Role Scorecard" in order to define the key activities and indicators monitored to assess performance.
A RACI matrix can also be initialized to define responsibilities for each activity. This matrix should be completed as activities are added.
